Highland Cattle in Wester RossCamusnagaul
View looking towards Camusnagaul and DundonnellCamusnagaul is a small hamlet, one of several on the south side of Little Loch Broom and 2 miles from Dundonnell. Camusnagaul is one of our favourite holiday locations in the Highlands of Scotland and we can recommend it.
The two self catering cottages at Camusnagaul are available all year round and can be booked by phoning Annie Ross on (+ 44) 01854 633237 or by e-mail. You can also book one of the two cottages book online for cottage with Cottages4you. We have stayed in both of the cottages (and the caravan) with our dogs and loved every minute of our holiday in the Highlands of Scotland. Mrs Ross also has excellent bed and breakfast accommodation and there are two caravans available at a very reasonable rate. Nearby is the Highland Croft Hostel - excellent for individuals, small groups or families who love "roughing it" - not likely at this hostel as it is very comfortable and has internet access available. Below is a picture looking towards Camusnagaul and Dundonnell from Little Loch Broom opposite the small community of Scoraig.

Mellon Udrigle in the autumnThe Scottish Highlands have many beautiful beaches, yet the sandy beaches of Wester Ross provide the mixture of unspoiled beauty, yet relatively easy access by car. Most of these beaches are provide an expanse of sand when the tide is out, great for exercising dogs and children alike. Remember to bring your kites, great fun for playing on the beach as will many other sports and games. Please take care when near the sea or lochs and always supervise your children at all times to keep them safe.
