The Inverewe Gardens are owned and run by the National Trust for Scotland and is visited by many visitors each year, some travelling around Scotland on Scottish bus tours of the Highlands, others making their own way to explore and discover Scotland for themselves. Whatever method you choose to visit Inverewe you are sure to enjoy yourself and will be amazed at the wide range of semi-tropical plants growing in the Highlands. Bird Hide: the gardens also have a bird hide that is down looking over onto Loch Ewe. After arriving at Inverewe Gardens you can easily find the bird hide by walking towards the sea down the path at the entrance to the gardens. Remember to bring your binoculars and cameras with you to see a wide range of birds. Poolewe is a perfect location for exploring and enjoying Wester Ross, you are not far from Gruinard Bay with its beautiful clean sandy beaches or from many hills and mountains - ideal for hillwalking.
